The Genesis of NovoMixo: A Journey of Six Mixologists

The Alchemist's Lair in New York

In the heart of Manhattan, tucked away in a nondescript building, was "The Alchemist's Lair." Owned by Emilia Romano, an Italian mixologist with a flair for the avant-garde, the bar was a sanctuary for those who sought more than just a drink. "Mixology is like painting; each ingredient is a color, and the cocktail is the canvas," Emilia would say to her patrons.

Santiago's Discovery

Santiago Mendoza, a Peruvian mixologist, had heard whispers of Emilia's talents during a mixology conference in Buenos Aires. Intrigued, he decided to visit New York. "When I first walked into The Alchemist's Lair, I felt like I had discovered a hidden world," Santiago recalls. After tasting Emilia's creations, he knew he had found a kindred spirit. "We both saw mixology as a form of cultural expression," he said.

The London Connection

Santiago was close friends with Lola Adebayo, a Nigerian mixologist based in Lagos who had made a name for herself in London's competitive cocktail scene. "I've always believed that the world is full of flavors waiting to be discovered," Lola would often say. Santiago introduced Lola to Emilia during a Skype call, and the trio immediately clicked. Lola then organized a private tasting event at "The Globe," a renowned cocktail bar in London, inviting Emilia and Santiago to showcase their creations.

The Sydney Workshop

At "The Globe," Lola introduced the duo to Alex Hartley, a British mixologist known for his innovative techniques. "Innovation isn't just about being new; it's about being better," Alex believed. Intrigued by the trio's vision, Alex proposed hosting a mixology workshop in Sydney, Australia. The event was a hit, but it also presented a challenge—the team realized they needed to streamline their diverse styles into a cohesive brand.

The Barcelona Fusion

Isabella Martinez, a Spanish mixologist with an artistic bent, had been following the team's journey online. "A cocktail should captivate all your senses, not just taste," she believed. She reached out to the team and invited them to a unique event in Barcelona that fused art and mixology. Her artistic approach added a new dimension to the team, filling a gap they didn't know they had.

The Hawaiian Epiphany

The team felt almost complete but lacked a certain exotic flair. That's when Keanu, a Hawaiian mixologist known for his tropical cocktails, entered the picture. He met the team at a mixology event in Miami. "A cocktail should transport you, and with NovoMixo, each sip is a journey to a different part of the world," Keanu said. He organized a beachside event in Hawaii, where the team faced their biggest challenge—crafting a signature cocktail that embodied the essence of NovoMixo. After days of experimentation, they finally succeeded.

The Birth of NovoMixo

United by a shared passion for innovation, quality, and global influence, the six mixologists decided to join forces and create NovoMixo. "We had our differences, and we had our debates, but that's what made NovoMixo special," Emilia reflects. Their mission was simple yet ambitious: to revolutionize the world of mixology by crafting cocktails that are as diverse as they are exquisite.

And so, NovoMixo was born—a brand that embodies the collective genius of six master mixologists, each contributing their unique skills and perspectives to create a cocktail experience unlike any other.
