The Odyssey aims to encapsulate the essence of NovoMixo—innovation, quality, and global influence—in a single glass. Each ingredient has been carefully selected to represent a member of the NovoMixo team, and the cocktail itself is a harmonious blend of diverse flavors and techniques from around the world.

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml Italian Limoncello: A tribute to Emilia Romano from Italy, adding a citrusy sweetness.
  • 20 ml Peruvian Pisco: Representing Santiago Mendoza from Peru, providing a grape-based, aromatic complexity.
  • 15 ml Nigerian Palm Wine or Coconut Water: A nod to Lola Adebayo from Lagos, adding a tropical, earthy note.
  • 10 ml London Dry Gin: In honor of Alex Hartley from London, contributing herbal and juniper notes.
  • 5 ml Spanish Sherry: Representing Isabella Martinez from Spain, adding a nutty, rich depth.
  • 15 ml Hawaiian Pineapple Juice: A salute to Keanu from Hawaii, providing a tropical sweetness.
  • A dash of Angostura Bitters: For complexity and balance.
  • Ice cubes

What makes "The Odyssey" truly special is its complex yet harmonious flavor profile. As you take your first sip, you'll be greeted by a burst of citrusy sweetness, a tribute to our Italian mixologist, Emilia Romano. This is quickly followed by aromatic complexity, a nod to Santiago Mendoza's Peruvian roots. As the flavors unfold, you'll experience earthy tropical notes, herbal complexity, and a rich, nutty depth, each representing another member of our talented team.

  • Nose: Aromatic complexity with hints of citrus, tropical fruit, and herbal notes.
  • Palate: A journey from sweet citrus to earthy tropical notes, followed by herbal complexity and finishing with a nutty depth.
  • Finish: Long, complex, and harmonious, leaving a lingering sweetness balanced by a touch of bitterness.

Instructions:

  1. Chill the Glass: Place a cocktail glass in the freezer to chill for at least 10 minutes. This ensures that the cocktail remains cold for a longer period.

  2. Prepare the Ingredients: Measure out all the liquid ingredients using a jigger for accuracy. Each ingredient should be of the highest quality to ensure the cocktail meets NovoMixo's standards.

  3. Mix: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, carefully pour in the Limoncello, Pisco, Palm Wine or Coconut Water, London Dry Gin, Sherry, and Pineapple Juice.
